I’m Joseph Michael Wall, a 23-year old, Keachi, Louisiana born Doom Country artist.

I’m influenced by artists such as Townes Van Zandt, Tyler Childers, Colter Wall, Hank Williams, Lefty Frizzell, Tracy Lawrence,George Jones, Guy Clark, Blaze Foley, Keith Whitley,,John Prine, Steve Earle, Wyatt Flores, Ole 60, Treaty Oak Revival, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Turnpike Troubadours, Black Sabbath, Pantera, Corrosion of Conformity, Down, Crowbar, Acid Bath, Eyehategod, Buzzoven, Weedeater, Dixie Witch, Alice in Chains, Nirvana, Soundgarden, Lynyrd Skynyrd , Jimi Hendrix, The 13th Floor Elevators, Pentagram, and Dax Riggs to name a few.

The lyrics are inspired by my faith in Christ, Mental Heath struggles,Addiction, Southern Life, Love, Death, and Life. The music keeps a focus on slow, crushing sludge-doom riffs, and a southern groove underneath everything, and I sing with a country twang that’s rough around the edges . I use acoustic and electric guitars, banjo, organ, piano,and or strings. Heavy when it needs to be, quiet when it doesn’t.
